What is WAT Tape?
Water-activated tape (WAT), which is also known as gummed paper tape, is a tape with a Kraft paper backing and a water-based adhesive.
When to use WAter-activated Tape (WAT)
Water-activated tape (gummed paper tape, gum tape, kraft paper tape) bonds instantly to both virgin and recycled fiber surfaces and therefore, generates an immediate destructive bond resulting in a tamper evident package.
