VCI bags, or Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor bags, are a type of poly film packaging with with a VCI additive designed to protect metals from corrosion.
The corrosion process is caused by oxygen, water, and contaminants. VCI bags have a thin, invisible anti-corrosion layer on the surface that prevents exposure and damage from these elements.
